The Mississippi Headwaters area holds a special place in our hearts as it’s where some of our best memories from childhood took place and is where we are now taking our children to make new memories. That’s why we’re proud to highlight the work Friends of the Headwaters is doing. Over the next week, we’ll be sharing more info on the great work they are doing, and the threats to our natural resources the proposed Enbridge pipeline poses. Please join us in supporting them by selecting Friends of the Headwaters as your cause when you purchase something from us, or make a donation directly on their site.
About:
Friends of the Headwaters (FOH) is a local citizen's group organized for the purpose of protecting our precious resource: Itasca State Park, the Mississippi River, our clean lakes and trout streams, the aquifer for our drinking water, our forests and wildlife from the potentially devastating impacts that will occur if the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline is constructed on the currently proposed route in Hubbard, Clearwater, Cass, Aitkin and Carlton Counties. FOH is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization. We don't fund salaried staff, rented offices, or media events. All of your tax-deductible contributions are dedicated to FOH’s educational and legal initiatives.
